Melodi puts Christmas on your phone

Posted by Admin on December 4, 2008

Well, we knew it wouldn’t be long, but here is the first Christmas specific news story we have received. At least it gives us an excuse to put a picture of a lovely Christmas tree on the site – doesn’t it warm the cockles?! If you said no, well ‘Bah, Humbug!’

UK based mobile consultancy Melodi Media has launched a range of Christmas mobile content for resellers. The content includes ringtones, real-tones and full track downloads, as well as festive wallpapers and Christmas games. The ringtones included such cheesy Christmas favourites as I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday and Do They Know it’s Christmas? from Band Aid 20, as well as Christmas Carols such as Away in a Manger.

Iain Kerr, Director of Melodi Media said, “The festive period always provides an opportunity for promoters and marketers to take advantage of associated merchandising and branding. This year however, with Christmas cheer in short supply, seasonal packages have offered even greater opportunities for resellers to engage with consumers and bring back the fun with downloadable mobile content.”
