Don’t send offensive text in Iran

Posted by Admin on December 23, 2008

The Tehran Times is reporting that a new government office is opening to deal with internet and sms ‘crimes and violations.’ As it has been widely reported about how criminals are treated in Iran, can I strongly suggest that you don’t commit any ‘crimes and violations’ by text or over the internet.

The new department is particularly going to look at potential violations of election law according to Tehran’s Prosecutor-General Saeed Mortazawi. But it will also be looking at offensive text messages.

All I can say is you’ve been warned!
